Loved this piece. I’m glad you got your raw words down on paper and for other’s to see.

Sometimes we don’t want to show our suffering or vulnerability. I guess we have been taught to put our best foot forward.

But sometimes we just need to unleash what is in our head to make sense of it.

I was in a similar place yesterday and it feels so good to just let it out…and today, I feel so so much better!

Grateful to be on this journey with you! 🥰

(As I read your words, it felt like creating a different space, away from your work and academia could be a way to nourish your writing. A little nook, somewhere cozy, a place where you go and you know, that’s your sacred creative space. 💕)

Ah thank you! It did feel nice to share it, as always - that’s the bit I forget sometimes.

I agree, I need a separate space! I sometimes use another room, with a spare bed that we’ve made into a sofa, but all too often it’s also the dumping ground for laundry we can’t think about yet 😅 it loses its inspiration and calm then!

I have a corner of my study that is a dumping ground. 🙈

I am very skilled at turning towards my bookshelf that gives me calm....vs my wee dumping corner. haha

😂 yep, I feel very seen now! I am great at that too! My office also serves as a bit of a dumping ground sadly. It’s a bit frustrating working from home for my day job. It means my lovely desk space and office that I’ve made nice ends up feeling so heavy and stifling. I need a change of scenery after a full day of meetings sat there. I need to clear the spare room for sure and use it over the next few weeks for some sanity!
