Hello, Karen. This seems a great place to be and walk. Do you have any suggestions on where we could stay (reachable by train or bus), and make nice walks like those on your photo’s?

Thanks Ivan, and I’m so sorry I haven’t replied before now. The photos in this piece were all taken doing what’s called the Crib Goch trail. These were highlights - we spent a good portion of the ‘walk’ scrambling over the trail through cloud. It is very steep and tough going! But well worth it. I’d love to go back on a sunnier day. I actually don’t know north Wales that well, sadly, I’m more familiar with the south. But, the north is really popular for tourists so I can imagine it’s well connected. The coastal areas are gorgeous too. I’ve barely scratched the surface of north wales, and have loved it every single visit. The mountains are breathtaking. There’s something so incredible about them. I’ve been in plenty of other mountains, bigger ranges and more dramatic but north wales always steals my heart.

It fascinates me how we can sometimes forget that fact though, or forget that we’re strong, even if we aren’t using that strength. ♥️ humans are remarkable.

Yes! The words will never run out! Sometimes we just need to feel that in our bones when we get scared. Xx
